OUR STORY
The Vintage 15 is the nation's hottest up-and-coming big band, performing jazz and swing standards with a cool modern vibe. The Austin jazz band features husband and wife vocal duo, Hans and Rachael Stockenberger. The Vintage 15 big band combines sexy chemistry with sizzling swing tunes to bring a swanky sound to weddings and events both big and small.
Bandleader and seasoned trumpet player, Steve Moreland, has assembled 15 fresh faces from major cities across the country to carve out a corner of the Austin, Texas, jazz scene. The band's angle of youth and talent brings a bright new energy not found in any other big bands. Their hand-selected music library covers the entirety of the Great American Songbook ranging from Frank Sinatra to Harry Connick, Jr. to Ella Fitzgerald and Michael Bublé.
Since it's first rehearsal in 2009, The Vintage 15 big band has travelled to major cities across Texas and the surrounding states including Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, El Paso, Oklahoma City and Hot Springs, Arkansas, performing at events such as weddings, corporate events, birthday and anniversary parties and fundraiser galas. The band has recorded 3 full-length albums, one of which can be found on iTunes titled, "On the Fly - The Music of Wes Peart." Their eclectic holiday album is scheduled for release in October 2013, and can be purchased right here online, so stay tuned.
